February 2025: SOCPacific2R’s first training workshop at USP
On the 24th of February 2025, 12 students from USP in Fiji took part in the first methodological training workshop provided by the SOCPacific2R team.
On the program, various methodological perspectives and tips, including a presentation on why interdisciplinarity matters and what it entails (by Annette Breckwoldt and Salanieta Kitolelei), what the different types of literature reviews are and how to carry out a systematic literature review (by Willem Malherbe), and how children’s drawings can be a heuristic research tool in the marine (social) sciences (by Elodie Fache).
The training ended with a presentation of SOCPacific2R and of the internship opportunities this project will offer USP students later in the year…
