September-October 2025: First period of fieldwork in Fiji

From the 22nd of September until the 11th of October 2025, SOCPacific2R’s four interns from USP spent three weeks on Ovalau with support from a few members of the research team.

On Ovalau, we partnered with communities in Vatukalo Village, Levuka Town, and Tokou Village, working together on local practices and initiatives related to reefs and reef passages.
